PROJECTA ENGINEERING was founded ten years ago in Fiorano Modenese by Vincenzo Palumbo who, thanks to his experience, very shortly led the company to becoming one of the top producers of digital ceramic tile decorating machines.

The company’s international success commenced indeed with the design and commercialization of the rotary screen printing machine, which is still one of the most popular machines sold worldwide for decorating ceramic tiles.

Expertise and proficiency acquired over the years enabled the company to develop a digital printing system, designed and manufactured entirely at the factory in Fiorano Modenese. This allowed the company to entice the market with cutting-edge solutions and to supply professional and customised consultancy services to customers, which offer much more than mere technical assistance before and after sales.

Projecta Engineering also provides a “Plug & Play” service at its headquarters in Fiorano Modenese. The company offers a laboratory with ink printing plotter and quality system (Ink-tester), at the service of customers to carry out production tests in order to verify the parameters and performance of a new collection of ceramic tiles, thus enormously facilitating its addition to the production line. Major paint producers and graphic studios have also installed Projecta’s Digiplot plotter at their laboratories; this allows them to fulfil graphic prototypes and to develop graphic set-ups that are subsequently easily transferred to production machines.

The company’s efforts continue in researching solutions and strategies that help to improve all the technological requirements, product valorisation potentials and active capacity of integration in the creative process of the customer.
