NEW ROLLER KILN INSTALLED AT ONDA KERAMIKOS S.A. (Onda, Castellón)

It was successfully carried out ​​the start-up of a new roller kiln in the facilities of Onda Keramikos SA a ceramic manufacturer specialized in the production of special pieces (greek, mosaic tiles, strip tiles, mosaics, etc.).

Keramikos’ spirit is turned to the design, quality and technology, resulting from this its continuous investments in advanced technologies for continuous improvement.

The new line consists of a single-layer roller kiln with inlet width 2,650 mm and total length of 66.6 meters enabling Keramikos to increase the plant production capacity and its     products range.

The kiln includes a heat recovery system that will allow to reduce both the fuel consumption and the gas emissions into the environment.

The latest generation kilns designed by SITI-B&T Group by adopting a combination of high speed burners and special radial burners will allow the achievement of excellent results with regard to the specific fuel consumption, the gauge, the tonality and the flatness.

The line is also equipped with a kiln  loading machine, model BT997/CF.
